Meisel Scholar Grant for College Students
The Donald M. and Eleanor Meisel Scholar Grant is available to students who are currently enrolled in college and have a connection to the Westminster community. The grant program was conceived in 1988 to encourage young people from Westminster to share their talents, follow their convictions and expand their education outside of the traditional college classroom by participating in volunteer projects, study programs, social action campaigns, and focused travel in the spirit of the church’s mission. While the Meisel Grant does not pay tuition fees for academic credit, students may also apply to support academic year volunteer projects. Preference is given to undergraduates. Recent high school graduates who will be attending college in the fall may apply. Contact Meghan Gage-Finn for more information. 2019 applications will be available in January.
Are you a local college student new to Westminster or the Twin Cities? A recent graduate seeking a church home? Welcome! We are so glad you’ve found us. During the school year we meet often to enjoy fellowship. We also host events during semester breaks and throughout the summer. If you are looking for opportunities for fellowship, Bible study or service events, or to connect with other college students away from campus, visit our Facebook page. Contact Meghan Gage-Finn for more information.
