A joint partnership of Westminster and the Minneapolis Central Library, the Magnet offers older adults a place to gather for coffee, conversation, cultural and educational events.

Moms with children of any age are invited to discuss This is Motherhood: A Motherly Collection of Reflections + Practicesby Jill Koziol and Liz Tenety. Nursery care available.
12 pm Centering Prayer, Bates Rm.
Centering Prayer is an updated form of an ancient meditative practice rooted in the Christian tradition of Contemplation. We slow down, step out of the chaotic pace of life, and recharge mind, body, and spirit.

5:30 pm Bluegrass Evening Prayer, Westminster Hall (in case of rain) 5:30 pm hymn sing-a-long, and a 6 pm service that is participatory, kid-friendly, and joy-filled!
5:30 pm Living the Faith in the 21st Century, Bushnell Rm.
This interactive class explores what it means to live as faithful Christians today. Through study of books and other materials, participants grow through learning and conversation.
