Mandela’s Way: Lessons for an Uncertain Age
Richard Stengel is an author and former managing editor of Time. He has written for numerous publications and appears regularly as a television political commentator. He served as Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs in the Obama administration, and he was the president and CEO of the National Constitution Center. He collaborated with Nelson Mandela on Mandela’s autobiography, The Long Walk to Freedom, produced the documentary film Mandela, and he is the author of the book Mandela’s Way. A graduate of Princeton University, he was awarded a Rhodes scholarship to Christ Church, Oxford, where he studied English and history.
