This Sunday, Assistant Professor of English at the University of Minnesota Megan Finch will facilitate the discussion. Dr. Finch’s work appears or is forthcoming in south and Cultural Critique. Her research focuses on the relationship between Enlightenment/racial slavery era discourses on reason, idiocy, and Blackness. Megan is currently teaching a graduate course on James Baldwin’s novels and revising an essay that offers new insight into Baldwin’s third novel, Another Country.
