June Community Partner Highlights

Through grants from the church, Westminster supports 11 local community partner organizations. This June learn more about the Advocates for Human Rights and the Restorative Justice Community Action.

Civil Rights Learning Experience

At the end of April, 13 people from Westminster embarked on a Civil Rights Learning Experience. On Sunday, June 11, at 9:15am in the Meisel Room, they will share reflections about their experience. It will also be available on Livestream.

Visit to Bethlehem: Our Hearts and Minds Were Opened

Westminster’s Palestine Partnership Ministry Team and Associate Pastor Alanna Simone Tyler spent a week in Bethlehem in March 2023. Westminster members Kathleen Campbell and Rani Murdoch Zappa reflect on the experience.

Second Set of Distributions from Mission Component

The Mission Component team of the Enduring Hope campaign recently recommended the second set of distributions: $200,000 to the Westminster Counseling Center and $200,000 to Ghost Ranch Education and Retreat Center in Abiquiu, New Mexico.

Enduring Hope Campaign Update: Chapel Re-Dedication

On Sunday, May 7, all are invited to the Chapel Re-dedication following the 10:30am worship, for a prayer of re-dedication, benediction, and postlude played on the chapel organ by organist Joe Trucano and Dr. Melanie Ohnstad, Minister of Music & the Arts Emerita.
