“I believe that mission begins with a listening ear, with being open and attuned to God’s spirit moving in our lives and in the life of our city.”
Brennan was born in Baton Rouge, LA, and grew up in metro Detroit. He graduated from the University of Michigan–Dearborn with a major in psychology and a minor in music. He went on to study at Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary, an experience he describes as “challenging, transformative and utterly joyful.” After graduating with his Master of Divinity in 2011, Brennan was ordained as a Lilly Resident Minister at the First Presbyterian Church of Ann Arbor.
In 2013, Brennan was called to Westminster to serve as the Associate Pastor for Families, Youth, and Children. Guided by Westminster’s shared baptism promise, Brennan finds joy and gratitude in sharing the gospel of God’s love with people of every age and stage.
In his spare time, Brennan finds peace while cooking, camping, and working in his garden. He is enjoying putting down roots in Minneapolis and learning more about the Twin Cities with his wife, Laura Blue.
