The Social Justice Forum offers weekly discussions on current and emerging social issues.
Social Justice Forum 2016–17:
Reconciliation—The Confession of 1967—From Then to Now
Sundays at 9:15 am | September–May
“Reconciliation—The Confession of 1967—From Then to Now” is the theme for this year’s Social Justice Forums. The four components of the confessional statement are:
- racial discrimination
- peace among nations
- enslaving poverty in a world of abundance
- equality of men and women
During the program year, the Forums will explore these issues from a local, national, and global perspective, providing opportunities to both learn, be more engaged and volunteer in the pursuits of justice.
